Outsider / Informer : Volume Project Space, Deptford, London. Sept 20th to Oct 4th 2009

Outsider / Informer takes it’s starting point from conversations between the artists about boundaries and division. During the residency, Sam and Jason will make physical interventions in dialogue with each other and the exhibition space. The space will be structured around a central cell and peripheral walkway that allows the artists to fluctuate between passages of collaboration and bouts of isolation; works may evolve together or develop as conflicting forms.

Sam and Jason will work together in the space from September 20th - 25th. During this time, the project space will be open and the public is invited in to engage with the artists’ processes. The resulting installation will be on view until October 4th, for the duration of Deptford X Festival. The launch will be held on the 25th in conjunction with the Deptford X opening events and projects at The Old Police Station.
