Completing the Birmingham-Bristol-Cardiff trinity, the artists, curators and critics of Cardiff are proud to present December eleven – a day of art events, screenings, visits and socialising across the City.
The day’s proceedings will start with a visit to the renowned Tactile Bosch studios, where artists from all three participating cities have been invited to undertake a residency. There will also be presentations and screenings by Outcasting, Kings Rd Studios, and the recently re-opened Chapter Arts Centre. Rubric journal of culture will be releasing its anticipated next issue, and there will also be the chance to recharge at selected hostelries and eateries including the new Cardiff Arts Institute. The day’s end will be marked by Richard Bevan’s exhibition preview at g39 in the city centre.As a city, Cardiff has seen radical developments in recent years, and this is equally true of the achievements of artists who make up Cardiff’s artscene. These are optimistic times, come and join us to celebrate"
